Jill is the coordinator of sustainability education in Residence Life. 

She earned her Master in Higher Education from UA and is currently seeking her Ph.D. After joining Residence Life in 2009, she initiated the now-annual utility competition and continues to oversee the Eco-Reps student advocacy group, train over 1,000 students and staff each year, create and manage resident engagement programs, and work with Residence Life policies, procedures and personnel to increase departmental sustainability. She also regularly collaborates with the UA Office of Sustainability and various faculty on sustainable projects. She serves as the Equity and Mentoring Workgroup chair for UA’s Commission on the Status of Women and as the Association of College and University Housing Officers International’s Sustainability Advisory Committee chair. She was recognized with a top-three program at the 2015 National Collegiate Leadership Conference, with a UA National Residence Hall Honorary Outstanding Leadership Service Award and was named the sole recipient of the American College Personnel Association’s 2013 Champion of Sustainability award.
