Since its establishment at the University of Arizona in 1992, the Commission on the Status of Women has advocated for a just, equitable and inclusive campus, advocating for equitable compensation and proactively implementing programs such as expanded child care options for employees and students.
In joining CSW, you can make an active, tangible impact on the University, changing our campus climate to be a more welcoming community for everyone. You will meet engaged diversity advocates from across campus, and you will have the chance to utilize your unique skill set (and gain new skills) on a quick-thinking, motivated team. Itâs a great networking opportunity!
The commission is actively seeking new members, and we appreciate you taking the time to fill out this short application. Please be aware that in applying to serve as a commissioner, you acknowledge your ability and agreement to commit to four to eight hours per month of service.
