Microaggression Workshop

When

Noon – 1:30 p.m., Nov. 15, 2017

Presented by Michelle Pitot and E. Liane Hernandez

Participants will examine microaggressions, which are behaviors or statements that can inflict insult or injury despite our intentions to the contrary. Participants will better understand what microaggressions are and discuss how they can impact our work towards inclusion across difference. We will explore the many ways in which microaggressions can "show up" in daily life, and how we can interrupt them and disperse their harmful and splintering effects.

This event is a brown bag, please feel free to bring your lunch! Light refreshments will be served.
