Programs & Events

CSW hosts and co-sponsors annual programs and events that provide the UA community with opportunities for professional development, to recognize outstanding leaders and obtain limited project funding.  CSW invites young women to campus to participate in activities designed to empower their thinking about the future.  All programs and events emphasize the enduring goals associated with the original vision.

2006 – 2007 Agenda

Arizona Women in Higher Education Southern Arizona Conference
The CSW Intersections Conference, held annually at the University of Arizona, has been redesigned and expanded with the involvement of others groups and academic institutions. 

CSW Vision Awards
2007 was our eighth year to honor significant contribution by a University leader to the CSW/Campus Diversity goals.

Mini Grants
Each year, CSW helps other groups by providing partial funding for efforts that advance the goals and vision of CSW.

Empowerment Academy for Young Women
2007 was the first year for the Academy which provided a professional experience at the University of Arizona for young women from local high schools.
