Amelia Lobos has been at the University of Arizona for almost 23 years. She holds a bachelor's degree from UA and graduated from the University Leadership Institute in 2004. Her background includes working with the elderly, students, substance abuse, inmates and the homeless population.
She has worked at the Women's Health Initiative Study, a longitudinal study of postmenopausal women ages 64-96 at the College of Public Health, since 1994. She has served as its study coordinator since 2006.
Her daughter will be a sophomore at UA in the fall. Amelia likes to hike, play soccer and spend time with her family.
