CSW Mini-Grant Application Form

Timeline

Mini-grant proposals are due March 3rd, 2017. Recipients will be notified by the begining of April 2017.

Eligibility

UA departments, programs and individual faculty, staff and student body members are eligible to apply for CSW mini-grants. Student programs must be officially recognized by the Associated Students of the University of Arizona. Funded projects must be able to provide a state or local unrestricted UA account.

Applicants may submit proposals for multiple projects. Please provide a separate application for each project. Preference will be given to first-time applicants.

Criteria

Funding will be awarded based upon the project's expected impact and how well it advances one or more of these CSW goals:

  • To identify and provide leadership on issues that affect women and/or underrepresented minorities
  • To develop and support University policies and practices that promote equity, diversity and inclusivity of all gender identities
  • To increase advancement opportunities for women and under-represented minorities
  • To collaborate with other groups to create safe, positive and inclusive communities
  • To foster individual and collective accountability promoting justice, equity and diversity
  • To educate the campus community about the commission's work and objectives/one or more of the above goals

Maximum 250 words. Particular importance is placed on alternate funding sources for recurring projects.

Please upload a one-page budget in PDF, DOC or XLS format. The budget should itemize the funds requested, justify how the cost was estimated, list other financial assistance and in-kind contributions and indicate the status of applications for other funding sources.
