Workgroup : Equity
Renewing our focus on a theme in ABOR's original charge to CSW in 1989, this workgroup represents the UA Commission's emerging strategic issue. We continue consideration of salary equity and job parity for faculty, classified staff, and appointed personnel, with particular emphasis in 07/08 on the situation of women graduate students (e.g., award of scholarships, RA vs. TA assistantships, pay levels; family care issues). This workgroup also emphasizes links with other UA groups and our counterparts at ASU and NAU to unite our approach to solving the bottom line problems.

This report was submitted in Jun-05 to Rutgers University as part of the Re-affirming Action: Designs for Diversity in Higher Education grant funded by the Ford Foundation (authors: J Hart, L Brigham, M Good, B Mills, J Monk).
